Things I learned at the Gender and Development committee fundraising weekend in Parakou:

-American expats will pay a lot of money for Velveeta cheese.

-There are a lot of genuinely good people in this country. I’m lucky enough to call a lot of them my friends and many of whom I can already tell are people I will want in my life for more than just two years.
